Waypoint
Works with any bank, in any country

Your bank tells you where you've been.
Waypoint shows you where you're going.

Add your bank statements, or let your bank's alerts flow in by themselves. Waypoint files every payment, tells you what's safe to spend until payday, warns you before bills and price rises, and answers questions about your money in plain English. No bank login. No spreadsheet.

Free while Waypoint is in preview. Statement files are read in memory and never stored.

Banks hand you a statement and walk away

A statement is a list. It doesn't say what you spent on food, which subscriptions crept up, or how much you can spend before payday. Waypoint turns the list into answers, every day.

Reads any statement

PDF (including password-locked ones), CSV, Excel or OFX from any bank. Columns, date order, in/out conventions and currency are worked out for you.

Keeps itself up to date

Forward statement emails, or send your bank's purchase texts automatically. New spending appears the same day; the statement confirms it later.

Safe to spend until payday

Today, this week and until your next salary, after the bills still to come. Rent paid every three months is spread across your pay, not dumped on one.

Warns you before it happens

Bills due, subscriptions renewing, free trials ending, price rises, double charges and budgets running out, on screen and on your phone.

Answers your questions

“How much did I spend on food last month?” “Can I afford 400 this week?” Ask in plain words and get your own numbers back.

Plans and shares

Goals and emergency fund, debt payoff plans, splitting a bill with friends, a household view of shared accounts only, and challenges that never show amounts.

Files every payment

491 known merchants and bill patterns, your own rules, and optional AI for anything unusual. Fix one and Waypoint remembers.

Spots what is wrong

A merchant charging three times its usual, bank fees and interest, and small purchases quietly adding up.

Any currency, any country

53 countries out of the box, currencies with 0, 2 or 3 decimals, and your own time zone. Different currencies are never added together.

Built privacy-first

  • No bank login or open-banking connection. You add your own statements; you stay in control.
  • Statement files are read in memory and discarded. Only the transaction lines are kept, plus a fingerprint of the file to spot duplicates.
  • Your data belongs to your account alone. Download all of it or delete your account at any time.
  • AI is optional and switched off with one tap. When it's on, transaction descriptions and amounts go to Anthropic's Claude to file them and write reports; the privacy policy says exactly what and when.
  • Waypoint never sells your data.

Take charge of your money this month

One statement is enough to see where it went. A few weeks in, Waypoint knows your paydays, your bills and your habits better than you do.
