Waypoint

Terms of use

Last updated 27 September 2026. Written in plain English on purpose.

What Waypoint is

Waypoint reads bank statements and alerts you give it and shows you your own numbers: where money went, what recurs, what's due. It is not a bank, does not hold or move money, and is not financial, tax, legal or religious advice. Calculators (zakat, gratuity, debt payoff) give estimates; check important decisions with a qualified person.

Your account

  • Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
  • Only upload statements and alerts for accounts you are allowed to access.
  • Don't try to break, overload or copy the service, or access other people's data.

Accuracy

Statement formats vary. Waypoint checks its reading against running balances where it can and tells you when it is unsure, but it can still get a line wrong. You can correct any category or exclude any transaction.

Plans and billing

During the preview every plan is free. Before paid plans start we will tell you the price, and nothing will be charged without your agreement.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time from Settings; your data is deleted with it. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Liability

Waypoint is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions you make based on it or for indirect losses.

This is a working draft for the product preview. Have it reviewed by a lawyer before a public launch in each country.
